Please be aware of changes to the MoneyGuidePro Social Security module in response to House Resolution 1314 – The Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015. These changes will go into effect the evening of Friday, December 18.

For clients born after January 1, 1954:
• Restricted application will be removed completely and any clients with this method selected will default to Normal beginning at Full Retirement Age.

For clients born after May 1, 1950:
• File and Suspend filing method will be removed as an option. If selected, this filing method will default to Normal beginning at Full Retirement Age.

For clients born on or before May 1, 1950:
• File and Suspend will remain as a filing method for those currently receiving benefits.
• File and Suspend will remain as a filing method for future strategies until May 1, 2016, after which the filing method will be removed as an available option.
